Social capital effects every aspect of our lives

Social capital effects our daily lives in many ways such as lowering crime rates, improving health care and longevity, providing better education achievement, increasing levels of income equality, improving child welfare, lowering child abuse, less corrupt government, enhanced economic achievement and lowering transaction costs.


Social capital with all of the above effects are connected to a healthy, productive,and happy community. Social capital enhances the community to move forward in a positive environment to create sability within their area.

Beware of Comparing Social Capital


Cautions in social capital must not ignore the cultural context of social capital. Although social capital is generally perceived as a community characteristic, it is usually measured by asking questions of individuals and listening to their replies. The problem with social capital can not simply be measured by the sum of individual social capital, but how the quantity of social capital is measured. As a community, one must control  their wealth by 100%.


Policymakers have a relationship with social  capital as it applies to economic growth, social inclusion, improved health  care, and an effective government. Some consider social capital a convenient reason for a break from excuses about expensive welfare.

Social Capital

Social change is a public and private good for all.  It benefits the creator and the bystander. The benefits of social change is available  to all members of the community. It involves diversity, a sense of belonging, feelings of mutual trust and safety, participation, values and the outlook of one's life, the power of citizens, networking, and reciprocity.

Social change focuses on measurements. It measures what it is exactly , the research, evidence , and policy implications of this change. It emphasizes a community of people working together for the common good. The social changes  values self, the group, and societal values.
